This department has been formed to achieve the following objectives:

To provide advice and assistance to IBA existing students in terms of their placement into internship programs and real jobs, at various organizations.

Apart from offering assistance in placing the students in various internship programs and real jobs, this link will also help in disseminating information pertaining to internship and hiring schedules of leading national and multinational organizations.

IBA Placement Services department assists students in their career planning and work search. We ensure that the transition from classroom to career is smooth and successful. We adopt following ways of assisting students:

Employer Seminars - CEO, heads of various functions including Human Resource department visit IBA, interact with the students, conduct on the spot interviews and at times offer jobs to them.

Workshops - Students and Alumni at the undergraduate and graduate level may take part in faculty workshops on a number of career related topics.

Career Counseling - IBA Placement Services department intends to provide feedback to its students after they have completed their internships, on the basis of ‘Appraisal and Evaluation’ provided by their employers. This will help the students learn about their strengths and areas of improvement.

Career Solutions for Graduates
Career network and job hunting does not end when IBA students graduate. In fact, it only begins as soon as they pass out of IBA. IBA graduates can now ‘Find a Job’ or ‘Post a Job’ by clicking on the appropriate link on IBA Placement Services.

Organizational Search – An exclusive ‘IBA Alumni Employers Database’ has been developed which provides information about 450 national and multinational organizations, which employ IBA Graduates. Its contents consist of the names, contact #, email and correspondence address of senior executives, primarily belonging to Human Resource department, who are involved in the hiring process.
